Is there a showroom that I can visit, to view the product prior to purchasing?

Yes, our showroom is located in our factory in Meru, Klang. Showroom visit is by appointment only. Please contact us for appointment visit our showroom. Alternatively you may find your nearest reseller here

Can I collect my order?

You may collect your order at our factory, however we do advise that we deliver the safe to you. Safes are heavy and bulky and do require special handling. The last thing we want to happen is our customer getting injured or cause damage to our customer property.

Where should I look to position my safe?
  • For optimum security, position your safe where it is not visible from windows or normal traffic areas. It is recommended that you position your safe away from exterior doors and windows.
  • For optimum fire protection, we recommend placing your safe away from areas where a fire is likely to start or burn exceptionally hot.
  • If you live in an older home or have purchased a large safe, it is recommended to install the safe near a load-bearing wall.
  • Install your safe in an enclosed, climate-controlled environment. The safe must not be exposed to weather or extreme humidity.
Warranty

What if I forget my combination, passcode or lost my keys?

In the event of a forgotten combination, passcode or lost keys, we offer services to force open the safe, with costs subject to the product model, required repair works, and replacement parts. Please contact us to get a quote.

Can I upgrade my safe’s mechanical lock to a digital lock ?

Most mechanical locks can be swapped out with a digital lock. Please consult with our technical support team at contact us.

Does my safe need routine maintenance?

Routine maintenance is to keep your safes lock in good working condition and may prevent costly lockouts. Routine maintenance duration varies depending on usage and environment. Some locksmiths can perform routine maintenance, though you should consider whether they are familiar with Moem Safe before consulting them for maintenance.

Who can I contact for servicing or repairing my safe?

In the event of lockout or malfunction, you can report the problem directly to us at info@moemsafe.com . Charges will vary depending on the extent of repairs or services required.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

KEY LOCK

Key Will Not Turn

Make sure you are using the correct key that was provided with your safe. Make sure key is fully inserted before attempting to turn key. If you are still unable to turn your key, there is a possibility that your key maybe damage or keylock have been tampered and damaged. Please try to use your spare key to open.

COMBINATION LOCK

Combination Will Not Open

It is possible that one or more of your numbers may be off slightly from those shown in the manual. The actual combination number may have shifted slightly during shipping. Try dialing 1 up or 1 down from each number in the combination.

Combination Dial is Tight or Will Not Turn

Normally dial tightness varies from safe to safe. Tightness of dial may increase or decrease as dial is being turned.

DIGITAL LOCK

Electronic Lock Will Not Open
  • The locking mechanism of a safe can, under certain conditions, place pressure on the side of the lock’s bolt. To relieve side pressure on the lock bolt, move the safe’s handle to the fully locked position, then re- enter a working code. The lock should open.
  • If the lock “chirps” when keys are pressed, but it will not open, the batteries may be drained to the point that they will not operate enough to open the lock. Follow the battery replacement procedure in this manual.
